Responsible Bay Area Furniture Hauling

Disposing of heavy furniture in the Bay Area is highly regulated and often requires a commercial vehicle to access local transfer stations. You cannot abandon a sofa on a San Francisco sidewalk. We provide compliant interior removal, loading, and disposal. We actively sort items to prioritize donation to local Bay Area non-profits (like Goodwill or Habitat for Humanity) before resorting to landfill disposal.

Items We Routinely Haul & Dispose Of:

  • Upholstery & Mattresses: Old couches, recliners, sectionals, and mattress sets.
  • Heavy Electronics: Tube televisions, broken appliances, refrigerators, and washers/dryers.
  • Bulky Furniture: Desks, broken pool tables, pianos, and massive dining tables.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will you do a donation drop-off for my old furniture?+
Yes. If your furniture is in good, usable condition, we can transport it directly to a local charity of your choice (such as Goodwill) on the way to your final moving destination. Time spent dropping off donations is simply billed at the standard hourly rate.
Are dump fees included in the hauling quote?+
Dump fees (the weight-based tariff charged by municipal dumps and transfer stations) are usually passed through to the customer at cost, in addition to the hourly labor rate to physically remove the items and drive them to the facility.
Are there hazardous items you cannot dispose of?+
Yes. Due to California EPA regulations, we cannot haul or dispose of hazardous waste including wet paint, motor oil, biological waste, asbestos, or car batteries. You must contact your local municipal hazardous waste drop-off for these items.
